Allison Clements’ work explores the conversation between color and rhythm, celebrating life’s beauty alongside its imperfections. Her expressive brushstrokes and intuitive color choices reflect an ongoing journey of healing, growth and rediscovery.
Allison holds a BFA in Painting from Ohio University and a master’s degree in Art Education from the University of Toledo. She has taught painting and drawing at the Toledo School for the Arts and the Toledo Museum of Art. After stepping away from her creative career to raise her three children, Allison returned to painting full-time in 2020. Since then, her work has been exhibited across the country, featured in publications, and collected in both public and private collections.
